January 2015 – Moxie Quilt #2: Pattern by Tula Pink. This is the second Moxie quilt I’ve made. My nieces like to have the same things, so I made them a quilt with the same pattern and same fabric line. The backing and bindings are different prints from the line. Modern Quilt Guild Riley Blake Challenge Quilt. This didn’t end up quite as I envisioned, but it was a great learning process for me. It was the very first quilt I designed on my own and I named it “Follow The Riley Blake Road.” You can read more about it HERE.
Megan’s Graduation Quilt. This is THE quilt that started my quilting adventures. I wanted to make a quilt with my favorite inspirational quotes for my daughter when she graduated from High School. Naturally, I put that aside as I fell in love with quilting and buying ALL the fabrics. I finished it with one week to spare! I hope she finds comfort and encouragement whenever she sees or uses her quilt!
I made this Mini Disco Quilt for an Instagram friend who sent me a beautiful table runner as a Pay It Forward gift.

Stitch ALL The Things 
I found your website through purchasing the sewing machine bulb your husband sells. I just wanted to say that your quilts are beautiful and you can clearly see the progression in skill level from the first year to the last ones posted. the color arrangement is beautiful, I always have trouble with that. do you quilt them all yourself?
for those who may read this, I just wanted to say that the sewing machine led bulbs are fantastic. I am older and have poor vision, tried a magnifier but that was difficult to manage consistently, searched ebay and came across her husbands bulbs and honestly it is like night and day for me. it did take some getting used to as the light provided is much stronger, almost like a “snow blind” at first. but after a few weeks I am quilting away most accurately. so if you know of a quilter this would make a great stocking stuffer gift for Christmas or for the office Santa party as they do not cost much. and no i don’t know brad or Christine, it was just a great, very useful product for me that i wanted to support. many blessings and i hope you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior cause He sure has made a difference in my life.

Wow, thank you so much for the very kind comments!! I have quilted all of my quilts. That is still very much a work in progress for me! I have a long way to go in that regard, but every quilt is a fun adventure and serves to help me grow in my free motion quilting skills.
We are very happy that you like the bulb. Like you, it took me a little bit to get used to the brightness after such a dim light, but I love how it illuminates my work now.
