Cross Stitching

Stitch ALL The Things | Ship's Manor Mystery Halloween Town Finish

Ship’s Manor Mystery Halloween Town Stitch Along. This was the first stitch along I participated in since the last Halloween Town (and ridiculous bakery fiasco that I changed to a cemetary). Thankfully I loved each part of this stitch along, which began in April of 2017 and the last part was released in September. I finished this on September 24th and it took 40 days to complete. You can read more about it HERE.

I Cross Stitch by Clouds Factory. Another favorite of mine. Stitched two over two on antique white jobelan. I changed two of the three floss colors. You can read more about it HERE. Started May 24th, almost finished on May 29th, put it in time out for a while and then finished on August 3rd of 2017. Seven total stitching days.

Stitch ALL The Things | Ghostly Encounters

Ghostly Encounters by Stitches Through Time. This piece taught me how amazing silver lined beads are. Stitched two over two on 32 count linen in Ale by Picture This Plus. Started July 18th and finished July 26th of 2017. You can read more about this piece HERE.

Stitch ALL The Things | Ghoul Tidings Finish

Ghoul Tidings from Plum Street Samplers. This was a quick stitch, and a lot of fun after the intense stitching of Sleepy Hollow. Stitched two over two on 26 count linen. Started July 11th and finished on July 17th of 2017. You can read more about it HERE.

Stitch ALL The Things | Sleepy Hollow Framed by Rensel Studios

Image from Rensel Studios

Sleepy Hollow by Glendon Place. This one was a very special stitch as it was a Christmas present from the Mister. I also sent this one to Jill Rensel to be framed. Stitched two over two on 28 count lugana in Haunted by Picture This Plus. Started January 16, 2017 and finished July 9, 2017. You can read more in the finish post HERE and the Jill Rensel Fully Finished Off post HERE.

Stitch ALL The Things | Let's Sew by Ursula Michael

Let’s Sew by Ursula Michael’s. This was such a fun stitch! The frame was found at Goodwill. Stitched on 14 count black aida (dear lord… UGH). You can read more about this one HERE. Started November 6, 2016 and finished November 24, 2016.

Stitch ALL The Things | Wacky Witches In Stitches

Whacky Witches in Stitches by Clouds Factory. I started this in July of 2014 and took a two year break between September 2014 and September 2016. Stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count evenweave in Charcoal (with Sparkles) from Dovestitch. Finished on October 26, 2016. I hand washed this in preparation for framing and the Weeks Dye Works thread in Mulberry ran all over it. I had to soak it for 24 hours with a color catcher, which removed quite a bit of the dye. My white thread is no longer as white as it was, and the Mulberry color has really faded. I have set this aside to rip out the Mulberry floss and restitch it at a later date. “Colorfast” my ass.

Stitch ALL The Things | Halloween Town Stitching

Halloween Town by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. Started June 23, 2014. Two year break from September 2014 until September 2016. I made a major modification to the third clue. It was charted as a bakery, but that did not fit my vision of what should be in a Halloween Town. I changed it into a cemetery. Stitched on 14 count oatmeal aida. Finished September 28, 2016.

A Cross Stitched gift for Mister

A Cross Stitched gift for Mister

Stitchrovia “Love Heart” I saw this pattern in an issue of Cross Stitcher and knew it was the perfect gift to stitch up for Mister for our third anniversary.  It was my very first cross stitching project.  You can read more about it HERE.

Stitch ALL The Things | Quilty Stitches

Quilty Stitches. I decided to participate in Little Miss Shabby’s Quilty Stitches while we were on summer vacation.  Loved creating this.  I would have done things a bit differently in retrospect (more white), but I’m still satisfied with the way it turned out. Now I just need to make a sewing machine cover with it! Finished August, 21, 2014.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment... You just made my day!!
