I will be over there linking up today, as I actually have a post to share today! A while back I did some tester sewing for Sew Sweetness. I am finally able to share that sewing with you! It’s not really part of my To-Do for the week, but I am happy to have a different type of bag to share that I’ve sewed with you rather than my standard, “Here’s another project bag” post.
Sara, of Sew Sweetness, just released a video 4-pack bundle she has been working on for three of her previously released patterns (the Sloan Travel Bag, the Coalition Bag, and the Polaris Bags).
The video bundle also includes a new pattern released by Sara, the Paladin Pouch! This is the one I tested several weeks ago.
I made the Paladin Pouch in all three sizes. This was a really fun bag to make, and easier than it looks like!
The pouch is actually two separate compartments that are sewn together and in doing so create a third pocket in the center. This is such a fantastic organizer pouch and can be used for so many different things. I think it’s perfect for the crafty person for organizing projects. It would be great as a make-up bag as well!
I mentioned in earlier posts that it would seem like a complicated pouch to make when you read through the instructions, but trust me… it’s not! Sara wrote the pattern so well and if you follow her instructions exactly, you’ll have your “A-Ha!” moment when you see how this pouch comes together.
I had a lot of fun making these bags, and I see more of these in my future! My plans for this week, and the rest of this month and next are to continue sewing project bags. I do believe this may be my last post for a few months, but as soon as I finish a project other than my usual Project For Sale bags, I’ll be linking up with Roseanne and Sue!

Hello, Christine. I have recently discovered your video blog and thoroughly enjoy it! Love your cross stitch. It is inspiring me to get back into cross stitch. In looking at your blog on this site I saw the darling Harry Potter project bags. Are they for sale and if so, how much? Keep up the good work!

Hi, Barbara!! Thank you! I’ve sold those bags already, sorry. When I make them I post them to my Instagram Destash account, stitchallthethingsdestash. People claim them there and then I invoice them for the bag. They go fairly quickly, so I don’t have them around for very long.
