Hello, and Happy Tuesday! This past week my focus was on packing up and attending a local stitching retreat, Stitchnanigans, held in Chandler, Arizona at the San Marcos Resort. It. Was. Amazing! We arrived on Thursday afternoon and stayed until late Sunday morning. It was so wonderful to meet stitchy friends in person that I have known online for a while.
This was my first cross stitching retreat and I had an absolute blast. I didn’t take many pictures until the very last day when I captured some with new friends I had made. I spent most of the retreat just being in the moment, chatting with everyone, and doing a small amount of stitching too. I didn’t get permission to post photos on my blog from my stitchy friends, so I will just leave the group photo here. I’m feeling a bit rummy today from the post retreat hangover, so I’m just going to leave this picture here and look forward to reading what you were all up to last week.
This week’s To-Do list:
- Sew bags
Now it’s your turn! Write up your post and link up using the InLinkz linky below.

The facilities there were absolutely perfect! There was a golf course there for any husbands that tagged along and wanted to enjoy the outdoors too. My husband isn’t a golfer, but he did enjoy sitting on the balcony and enjoying the weather!

So glad you had fun at your retreat! I hope to hear more about it once you’ve readjusted to being home again and get caught up.
