Hello, and Happy Tuesday! It’s time to see how we did with last week’s work and make some plans for this week!
I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the new sewing room this past week. It did take some getting used to how things are set up now, but I quickly found my way to being productive. I really loved finishing up breakfast, refilling my coffee mug, and walking 25 feet into the room, rather than out of the house and into the back garage. It is great being so close to everyone and not feeling tucked away in a remote place.
I also managed to get my 5 bags sewn for the week. Two were these Halloween print zip-top bags. I found this fabric at Jo-Ann’s in Salem, Oregon. I really love it and the next time I happen upon a Jo-Ann’s I will look for some more!
I finished three clear vinyl front bags too. These are repeat bags, but it’s been a while since I’ve shown these fabrics so I decided to share them again.
As far as my stitching goes, I decided to work on my Poison Garden piece again. This is my progress as of Day 20. This piece has so much sparkle and bling, I just love it. It’s a challenge, and such a joy to stitch all at the same time.
This week’s To-Do list:

Hi Christine! I was wondering if you would have a few, hmm, where did I put that moments. I’m glad you are all settled into that fabulous room. It makes me want to re-do my closet. It seems like there are much better ways now to utilize storage helpers for craft and sewing supplies. Happy Tuesday to you. ~smile~ Roseanne

I haven’t had any moments where I had to figure out where I put something, and that’s probably because it took me WAY TOO LONG to figure out where every little thing should go. It’s more of a, “Oh, for crying out loud, why did I put that way over THERE?!” I did have to rework some of my tool placement, but I think that has all smoothed out now. Thank goodness!

I bet you are glad to have a space in the house – I wouldn’t even walk outside until it warmed up a little bit 🙂 which would cut down my sewing time if I only did it in a space that wasn’t in the house. I really love that stitchery!

Well, thankfully, the path to the back room was out the door directly into the garage! It doesn’t get too wintery cold here, but cold for us thin-blooded Arizonans! I was very happy to be in the house where the heat is on. Most importantly, I will be THRILLED to be in the house with the AC in the hot months! YAY!!
