Well, I woke up this morning and remembered that I forgot to write today’s post last night! Yikes! These long holiday weekends throw me off sometimes, since we are always traveling on Friday to drop off my daughter at her dad’s for a visit weekend, and then traveling back on Monday after picking her up. These are long days for us, so by the time we get home we are all worn out and I tend to forget about writing the post. Sorry for being late today! And, speaking of this holiday weekend, I’m very grateful for our veterans and their sacrifices made to serve our country and preserve our freedoms.
Last week my goal was to finish the Hug in a Cup chart and get them sent back to the new cross stitch shop opening up in Windsor, CA, Threads Entwined, to finish off and display as a shop sample. I made the deadline and I am so happy with how it turned out!
This week I have cookies to bake and send off to Josh for Thanksgiving. I also have some Thanksgiving shopping to do. I am also going to start doing some project bag sewing again, but I am not going to be taking custom orders. I ended up putting too much pressure on myself last time by taking too many orders and trying to get them all done quickly. This time I am just going to sew them and as they are finished I will put them up on my Instagram Destash account for sale. I talk a lot about why I am sewing these, why I’m not taking custom orders, and why I am only selling them on Instagram in my recent Flosstube video.
