Hello, friends. Life has given us some challenges this past week. We ended up needing to let our dog, Mugsy, cross over the rainbow bridge. It’s been difficult for us since we let him go. We’ve also been focused on Josh and his preparations for leaving. I did end up finishing the last of my thank you sewing, but I forgot to take a picture. I don’t have anything else to share this week, but I did end up doing a small bit of stitching in the evenings. So I’ll share my progress on Grimes Ghost by Silver Creek Samplers…

I’ve got a few things going on this week, but I won’t be able to share them until next week. So I won’t have a list in this post. But I do look forward to reading yours!
This week’s To-Do list:
- We’ll talk about it next week. 🙂
Now it’s your turn! Write up your post and link up using the InLinkz linky below.
Rules:

It simply needs to be related to setting, working on, and/or completing your weekly goal(s).

I know how hard it can be to say goodbye to a beloved pet. I’m so sorry to hear your family just went through that. … As life moves on, may Josh rise to the challenges ahead. … Peaceful stitching, Christine!

Oh, Christine — I’m so sorry for your loss. My dogs are 7 years old now and average life expectancy for Rottweilers is only 8-12 years, or even 8-10 depending on which source I’m looking at. Either way, I know that a dog is a beloved family member and my heart goes out to you and your family.

I’m so sorry for your loss! It’s so painful! We lost two of our beloved pets (18 and 16 years old) several years ago and just thus summer we lost our 14 year old poodle. It hurts, I know. Hugs to you!

Thank you so much. It’s hard because so many little things remind me of him, but I just remember all the silly goofy things he would do and it brings a smile to my face!
