Hello and Happy Tuesday, friends! I don’t have much to share as I am in the middle of secret sewing. The Mister and I got all of our Christmas decorating done over the weekend, and I made my baking lists. It’s a lot of busy Christmas prep around here!
I did take some time to create some cross stitching tracking worksheets to create a cross stitching journal. I was looking for free printables online and didn’t find any I really liked. I’ve included them in a post HERE where they can be downloaded by anyone else who may be looking to create their own cross stitching journal.
This week I will be finishing up my secret sewing project and hopefully getting that off in the mail by the end of the week. I also plan on doing all of my baking and mailing that off by Saturday. I’ll be making Molasses Sugar Cookies, White Chocolate Dipped Peppermint Sugar Cookies, and Christmas Bark. Yum! I hope you are all enjoying the season and that your plans are all coming together nicely!

This time of year makes it difficult to accomplish anything in the just-for-fun category. I still have all my baking to do – you can’t start it too early or it’s gone by Christmas! I will have to make some time for that this weekend, although I have two parties to attend and a charity basketball game. Somehow everything gets done each year, and I am sure this will be no different. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi, Roseanne! Wow, are you ever right about the just-for-fun stuff. I’m trying to get my first wave of baking done… The packages of goodies that get sent out to all of the relatives. Then I need to make the other baking list for stuff I want to make for Christmas week. The kids have already requested my Butter Rum Cake, so that’s gone on my mental list. You sound like you’ve got a lot on your plate already! It’s amazing all that we’re able to accomplish during this holiday season! I love the hustle and bustle; my husband says I always work better under pressure (even though he hates that!). LOL!!
