Hello, friends! After a busy week of preparing to travel, and then doing the traveling, we arrived in Oregon over the weekend. We made it in time to visit the graveside of my husband’s parents and pay our respects on Memorial Day. Just a quick post this time, as there isn’t much for me to talk about this week. We are also still recovering from all of our time on the road taking the kids to their dad and then our own trip, so my brain is a little foggy for words anyway. I will leave you with a picture of some beautiful Irises that were in bloom at the house when we arrived!
This week’s To-Do list:
- Fix cross stitch WIP
- Identify items to work on at the house
Now it’s your turn! Write up your post and link up using the InLinkz linky below.
Rules:
- Link up to this To-Do Tuesday blog post using the InLinkz linky below. Don’t forget: you can link up Instagram photos! The link up is open all week, and you can link any post for the week even if it’s written on the prior Sunday or Monday. It simply needs to be related to setting, working on, and/or completing your weekly goal(s).
- Try to visit at least one or two other blogs and leave a nice comment.
- Include a link back to my blog. Feel free to grab the blog button from the sidebar to show that you’re participating in To-Do Tuesday.
- You do not have to follow my blog to participate, but if you do decide to follow me… thank you! I appreciate it!

I was surprised to see them, they weren’t in bloom when we arrived last summer. We spent the rest of the weekend just lazing around. It felt good to relax a bit. Today, we start working on plumbing. Fun times!

The irises are gorgeous! I have such a black thumb, and zero patience for gardening. I wish I loved it. Happy for your safe travels and arrival!

I have a black thumb too! I just look around the place and am grateful for the plantings of the previous owner… I couldn’t do any of this myself! I told Brad at some point there’s an empty bed I’d like to plant some pretty things in, but when we go to the nursery I need to ask them which plants are perennial and will require no care! LOL!!

Pretty Iris! Hubs is expanding our garden with more Irises. They are such beautiful flowers with so many varieties in color! Too bad the blooms don’t last longer. Like Amy, I don’t have a green thumb, but I’m so glad my husband does!

Irises are so pretty, I agree! My mom loves them and has them planted all over at her place in California. I pretty much kill everything I touch, so these will either need to multiply or they’ll die off eventually. LOL!! Everything that’s growing here is because of the previous owner. Neither my husband and I have green thumbs or enjoy gardening. I’ll go to the nursery at some point (when we are here more during the year) and ask them for things I can plant and not have to expend a lot of energy on.
