The Mister and I have been traveling the last two days, and driving south into the hotter climates has made for a bit of rough travel. I apologize to Amy for not getting this posted last night! I promised pictures of the house this week, and you’ll have to visit THIS post that went up Sunday to see them all!

This week’s To-Do list:

  • Get home and unload everything!

This is our last week of guest-hosted To-Do Tuesday! It has been a lot of fun and I am very grateful to Amy, Bernie, Myra, and Sarah for hosting over the summer!

Now it’s your turn! Write up your post and link up using the InLinkz linky below.

  1. I am sorry travel wasn’t very fun this trip, but I am sure you will be very happy to have your family all under one roof again! Good luck unpacking (my least favorite part of travel)!

    1. I am really looking forward to picking up the kids this weekend. I have missed them so much! We made it home yesterday and I had about 95% the motorhome unloaded and everything put away in an hour and 35 minutes. Which is pretty amazing considering it was 113 degrees outside! I’ve gotten a system down pat for getting that done, and it helps on hot days like yesterday. We were wiped out afterwards though, but it felt great to relax and have the majority of the work behind us!

  2. Sometimes those travels home are just hard because the adventure for now has ended. But hope you are all settled in back at your winter home. And may all go well for your family as you get back into your routine as the school year approaches.

    1. Thanks, Sharon! No doubt leaving put kind of a damper on the trip home, but most of the difficulty was the very long first day of driving, and then getting overheated when we got to an RV park. The shore power at the first space the park put is in was broke, and then after running back and forth to the office in the heat and moving the coach, Brad really became overheated. We found that the power in the park in general was too strained by all the A/C’s running by other people to allow us to run ours as well, so we ended up unplugging from the shore power and running our generator until the sun went down and the evening became cooler. It took us until about 10:00pm just to cool down. We were worn out more than usual by day 1! But the other two days were much better, even with coming into the southern temps. We are home and I just got the last of the stuff out of the motorhome and put away. That means I get the kids soon and I get to sew soon… YIPPEEEEEE!!!!

    1. Thanks so much! The house was fun to do, even if it’s sort of bare-bones decorated for now! Thanks for hosting and the offer to host again… I will most likely take you up on that! 😀
