I blew it again, and forgot to write my To-Do Tuesday post last night. Good grief! In my defense, I’ve been super busy the past week, and time is flying by way too fast. We will be dropping the kids off with their dad on Friday for the summer (they are super pumped!), and then we are scheduled to head out on Saturday morning, right after our friend arrives to house sit for us. Yippee!!!!
Mister and I have been busy plotting and planning our summer travels, and I discovered we will be passing by the Missouri Star Quilt Company. I squealed with delight and anticipation when I told Mister that visiting MSQC was on my bucket list and he responded with, “Then we’re stopping there, for sure!!” (I also swear I heard my credit card groan with dread from the depths of my purse.)
I don’t have any projects to show this week, so I’ll brag on my son Josh a bit. He brought home his art work from his Intro To Studio Graphics and Web Design class at school. He was given the assignment to choose an image and recreate it with chalk pastels. These two are his favorites, and they are most definitely mine too (after the one he made for me for Mother’s Day, of course).
This week’s To-Do list:
- Finish cleaning.
- Load Motorhome.
- Enjoy the trip!!

I’m so excited to start summer! Last day of school for the kids is today… and they are even more excited than I! I keep trying to convince Josh to leave some of his artwork here with me, but he said, “No. I want to keep it for myself!” Can’t blame a Mom for trying!!!

I was very excited to be leaving last week! I’m still excited. What a trip so far! I ended up making the Josh’s artwork of the woman my screen saver on my phone. I just love it so much!
