To-Do Tuesday 5-17-16 | Summer Schedule

Batik Stepping Stones

I completed the final sewing item on my list last night when I finished sewing the binding to the back of my batik Stepping Stones quilt. I will write more about that quilt in a Finished Friday post that will go up this week.

Thank you to everyone who responded about guest hosting To-Do Tuesday over the summer during the months of June and July. I really appreciate the help, and I think it will be a lot of fun to visit other blogs and see what everyone else has been working on.

Here’s the June and July schedule of bloggers:

June 7th: Sarah of Georgia Girl Quilts
June 14th: Myra of Busy Hands Quilts
June 21st: Here – Stitch All The Things
June 28th: Amy of Swimming in a Sea Of Estrogen
July 5th: Here- Stitch All The Things
July 12th: Bernie of Needle and Foot
July 19th: Myra of Busy Hands Quilts
July 26th: Amy of Swimming in a Sea Of Estrogen

I will be sure and put up a post each Tuesday making sure we all visit the right blog to link up our posts. Thanks again for the help everyone; I am excited to see the projects we work on over the summer!

  1. I really really love the colors in this version of the Stepping Stones quilt – so pretty! I am excited about helping you host TDT this summer, it will be fun!

    1. The two quilts are so different, even though they are the same pattern. I really love the blue-greens, tans and browns in this one. Thanks again for agreeing to host! I appreciate it very much!

    1. This was my first time sewing a batik quilt. I was really nervous about the quilting part, because I’ve heard of people struggling with the batik fabric for some reason. This one quilted beautifully! So glad it went well!

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment... You just made my day!!
